How does the Collect Feature Work?

The Collect feature sits at the centre of Blazing Bison™ Gold Blitz™. During the base game, Cash symbols and Jackpot symbols can land on the reels with prize values attached to them. Unlike regular symbol wins, these prizes are only awarded when a Collect symbol appears.

Cash Symbols

Cash symbols display individual prize values linked to your current bet. These symbols can appear during both the base game and Gold Blitz™ spins. If several land on the same spin, their values accumulate until a Collect symbol gathers them.

Jackpot Symbols

Jackpot symbols award fixed jackpot prizes rather than standard cash values. Like Cash symbols, they remain on the reels until collected. A Collect symbol can gather Jackpot symbols and Cash symbols at the same time.

Collect Symbols

Collect symbols appear on reel one and reel six. When a Collect symbol lands, every visible Cash symbol and Jackpot symbol on the reels is gathered and awarded. This is where some of the game's largest collection-based prizes can occur.

How do Gold Blitz™ Spins Work?

Gold Blitz™ takes the collection mechanic and makes it the focus of an entire feature. Once Gold Blitz™ begins, regular paying symbols are removed from the reels. Instead, the feature centres on Collect symbols, Cash symbols and Jackpot symbols.

Triggering Gold Blitz™

Three or more Scatter symbols unlock the game's bonus choice. From there, you can choose between Free Spins and Gold Blitz™ spins.

If Gold Blitz™ is selected, the number of spins awarded depends on the Scatter trigger:

  • 3 Scatters award 2 Gold Blitz™ spins
  • 4 Scatters award 3 Gold Blitz™ spins
  • 5 Scatters award 5 Gold Blitz™ spins
  • 6 Scatters award 7 Gold Blitz™ spins

What Happens During Gold Blitz™?

Every Gold Blitz™ spin includes a guaranteed Collect symbol on reel one, giving you an opportunity to gather any Cash symbols and Jackpot symbols that appear during the feature. A second Collect symbol may also land on reel six, collecting every visible Cash symbol and Jackpot symbol on the reels.

Free Spins and Multiplier Wilds

Free Spins offer an alternative to Gold Blitz™. Rather than collecting Cash symbols and Jackpot symbols, the feature focuses on regular winning combinations boosted by multiplier wilds.

How are Free Spins Triggered?

The Free Spins feature uses the same Scatter trigger as Gold Blitz™. Depending on the number of Scatters that land, the feature can begin with:

  • 8 Free Spins
  • 12 Free Spins
  • 20 Free Spins
  • 30 Free Spins

Additional Scatters during the feature can award extra spins.

How do Wild Multipliers Increase Wins?

Wild symbols become more valuable during Free Spins. When a Wild contributes to a winning combination, it can carry a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier. The multiplier increases the value of that win before it is paid.

If you enjoy slots built around special features and bonus choices, you may also want to take a look at Ancient Fortunes Zeus, which offers its own approach to feature-driven gameplay.

RTP, Volatility and Prize Potential

Blazing Bison™ Gold Blitz™ has an RTP of approximately 94%, although the exact percentage may vary depending on the version available. You can check the game's information panel for the settings attached to the version you are playing.

The game is classified as a high-volatility slot. This means larger wins are often tied to the bonus features rather than appearing frequently during regular spins.
